Different AG wigs

I was brushing all my dolls' hair today and I had this idea, wouldn't it be nice if we could have a thread here that has the details of the hair on each of the AG dolls? Since hair is a concern for many people when getting a new doll (it certainly is for me!), it would be nice to have that info here. Just a thought. I have in mind something like this:

Thickness: Average
Curly/straight: straight, ends curl inward

Have little hair in the back?: no
Suitable for many styles?: not really
Anything special: some Kits have longer hair and some have shorter hair. The ones with longer hair can wear their hair in two pig tails.

Here's my dolls:

Doll: Kirsten (M- 2005)
Hair Length: bottom of the torso to top of the knee caps
Thickness: average
Curly/straight: wavy when taken out of braids, but wetting and brushing will straighten it overtime.
One length or layered: one length in braids, but different lengths out of the braids
Have little hair in the back?: yes
Suitable for many styles?: yes, it's long and full, and works for pretty much everything.
Anything special: Looks great down and in the normal braids

Doll: Felicity (M- 2004)
Hair Length: lower back
Thickness: slightly above the current average
Curly/straight: straight, curl under at the end
One length or layered: one length, but slighty longer in the middle
Have little hair in the back?: no, but there are some throughout
Suitable for many styles?: yes
Anything special: the curls are cute, but you have to remember they're there so you don't comb them into the rest of her hair

Doll: Josefina (PM- 2007)
Hair Length: about knee length, but different layers to have the straight end in the braid
Thickness: average for the PM dolls
Curly/straight: straight
One length or layered: one length in the braid, but different lenghts out of it
Have little hair in the back?: no, but there are some throughout
Suitable for many styles?: yes
Anything special: hard to manage, falls out easily

Doll: Samantha (PM- ??, doll is from 1995, but we got her a new head in 98, that I know is PM, looks mid-90s still)
Hair Length: lower back
Thickness: above average
Curly/straight: curly
One length or layered: layered
Have little hair in the back?: no, but there are some throughout
Suitable for many styles?: yes
Anything special: can get frizzy over time

Doll: Nellie (M- 2004)
Hair Length: shoulders
Thickness: less than average
Curly/straight: straight, curls under at the ends
One length or layered: one length
Have little hair in the back?: no, but there are some throughout
Suitable for many styles?: no, too short
Anything special: it's cute, but you can't do much with it

Doll: Misty (I'm going to answer this of her hair when we first got her, not as it is now, since it's not an AG wig. PM- 1997)
Hair Length: mid back
Thickness: average for PM dolls
Curly/straight: straight
One length or layered: one length
Have little hair in the back?: no
Suitable for many styles?: yes
Anything special: my doll's hair got very bad very fast. You could see the wig cap when she first arrived, even with her hair in just a ponytail.

Doll: Raven, AGT26 (M- 2005)
Hair Length: about an inch below shoulders
Thickness: below average, but the curls cover that up
Curly/straight: curly
One length or layered: layered
Have little hair in the back?: no
Suitable for many styles?: no, not really
Anything special: can't do as many styles with it, but it's so cute down

Doll: Jess (M- 2005)
Hair Length: mid back
Thickness: below average, but I guess average for M dolls
Curly/straight: wavy out of braids, ends of braids (and out of braids) curl slightly
One length or layered: layered
Have little hair in the back?: yes, to cover the wig cap, and some throughout
Suitable for many styles?: yes
Anything special: nice length for shorter styles, but doesn't work as well for braids as longer/thicker hair

Anything special: very nice hair that works for pretty much everything. I haven't had any problems with any styles I've tried to do on her (except the rope french braid, but I think the dolls just dont have enough hair for that to look very good)

Hair Length: Just below hips
Thickness: Very, very thick.
Curly/straight: Neither, it's a textured ethnic.
One length or layered: one length all over, parted in front
Have little hair in the back?: nop
Suitable for many styles?: Yes. I have had Addy in everything from French Braids to
Anything special: Addy's hair can get very dry; I have taken to spraying it lightly with my braid spray, which is specially made for the type of hair Addy has.

Doll: Naomi (rewigged AG 12)
Hair Length: To hips
Thickness: Thick.
Curly/straight: Straight with a slight wave
One length or layered: one lenght, with bangs.
Have little hair in the back?: Nope
Suitable for many styles?: Yes. I mostly keep it ponytailed.
Anything special: Naomi is rewigged; her hair is a Denise wig (Brown, IIRC) from Monique doll wigs.

Doll: 1987 WB Kirsten Larson
Hair length: Just past her shoulders
Thickness: medium thick
Curly/Straight: Wavy when taken out of braids
One length or layered: One length
Have little hair in the back?: Yes
Suitable for many styles?: No because her hair is parted and clipped in the back to style in braids.
Anything special: Her hair is thick and more textured/straw like than Mattel Kirsten and it is also a different color, more of an ash blond.

Doll: 1992 pre-Mattel Felicity
Hair Length: lower back
Thickness: medium thick
Curly/straight: straight, curl under at the end
One length or layered: one length
Have little hair in the back?: no
Suitable for many styles?: Haven't tried
Anything special: Her hair tends to tangle easily and gets dry on the ends.

Doll: PM 1993 Addy Walker
Hair Length: All the way down her back
Thickness: Very thick
Curly/straight: Textured
One length or layered: layered but long layers
Have little hair in the back?: no
Suitable for many styles?: Yes, best hair to style!
Anything special: Her hair is very textured and tangles easily. It requires a lot of patience to comb out but it's well worth it.

Doll: 1988 WB Samantha
Hair Length: lower back
Thickness: Medium thick
Curly/straight: curly
One length or layered: layered
Have little hair in the back?: no, but there are some little hairs on top
Suitable for many styles?: Haven't tried
Anything special: Her curls can go limp over time but will bounce back with water and fluffing or rolling with the pink AG rollers. She has a bump on the top of her head behind her ponytail and her wig cap shows when you lift up the ponytail section.

Doll: Kaya
Hair Length: All the way down her back
Thickness: It looks thick
Curly/straight: Wavy when you take out the braids
One length or layered: One length?
Have little hair in the back?: Yes
Suitable for many styles?: Haven't tried
Anything special: Her braids are very fancy and look hard to duplicate.

Doll: Gotz Little Sisters Tess aka Susanna
Hair Length: mid back
Thickness: thick
Curly/straight: stick straight
One length or layered: layered
Have little hair in the back?: no
Suitable for many styles?: Not really because of the layers. Braids are tough and certain styles reveal the wig cap but ponytails are fine and small half ponys or braids.
